Darijus Staniskis

Memorial mass for Darijus Staniskis, age 55, will be 10:00 AM, Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Casimir Parish, 18022 Neff Road Cleveland. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14th from 2:00 until 6:00 pm at the Jakubs & Son Funeral Home, 936 E. 185th Street Cleveland. Burial will be private.

Darijus was born on January 30, 1970, in Lithuania and passed away on August 27, 2025.

Darijus found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was the proud owner and chef of a cherished local restaurant, where his culinary talents brought people together and made every meal memorable. He enjoyed fishing on quiet mornings, driving through scenic routes, and tending to his garden with care and patience. He was also an avid basketball fan, always ready to cheer on his favorite team and share in the excitement of the game.

Darijus will be remembered for his generous spirit, his sense of humor, his love for nature and food, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Darijus is the beloved husband of Asta Staniskis (nee Zamulskyte); loving father of Migle Staniskyte (Matt Fischer); and very close cousin of Akvile Augustauskiene (Darius Augustauskas), Andrius Maciulevicius (Inga Maciuleviciene), Rasa Leleikiene, Jurate Morockiene (Gintas Morocka), Vita Hoffman, Kastytis Maciulevicius, Jonas Maciulevicius, Jurate Ambraziuniene (Rolandas Ambraziunas); godfather of Anna Gajdos, Vytautas Matulaitis, Jurate Meksriunaite; brother-in-law of Ausra Gajdos.
