Alice Marion Tomcany was born May 30th, 1945 in Cleveland to Albert and Mary (nee Foland) Butauski (both deceased) and passed away September 1st, 2025.

Alice was an avid collector of frogs despite disliking real living frogs, had a green thumb when it came to plants, had a passion and talent for home-cooked meals and baking although she was vocal about her dislike for baking, "cooking you can have fun with and make it your own but baking is a science and you have to follow it exactly or you end up with a mess.. that's why I don't bake!" she would say. She adored listening to Elvis Presley and was most likely his biggest fan and her favorite color was blue. In her downtime, she found delight in shopping trips, coloring and diving into online games with enthusiasm. She genuinely was comedic relief when life took unexpected and difficult turns. She had a magnetic personality and was loved by everyone she met, people seemed to flock to her. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids more than anything. Alice treasured time spent with her family; moments filled with love, connection and lasting memories. Her presence was a gift and her spirit will continue to bloom in the hearts of those who knew her.

Alice is the beloved wife of Martin Tomcany (deceased); Mother of Marty Muha (deceased); Stepmother of Gary (Joanna), Dennis (Maria) (deceased), Ricky (Tami); Brian and John; Grandmother of Mitchell (Beth), Cory (Kim) Alexis (Scott), Cassie, Brandon, AJ (Merry), Joey (Taylor), Brian, Taylor (Bryce), Madison (Zach), Nick, Kaela, Kaitlin and Deven; Great Grandmother of Mitchell's children (names unknown) Chloee, Allie, Nick, Leigha, Ryan, Aura, Iris, Maeve, Aubrey, Elsie and Beckham; Sister of Debbie, Diane, Albert and Mike (Debbie) (both deceased); Many nieces, nephews and cousins; Dog mom to Midnight and Shadow (both deceased); Special friend of Beverly and Jan, lovingly known as "the three amigos."
