Darius Rainey Fleming, 34, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma, and was always proud of his Native American heritage

Darius was a creative soul who felt things deeply. His creativity was reflected in his artwork. He enjoyed drawing- -whether it was a quick sketch on a notepad a piece worthy of a picture frame, or a tattoo design -he loved sharing his work as a gift. Darius also had a passion for music; his singing, guitar playing, and harmonica tunes had a way of making people stop and listen. Ultimately, he treasured spending time with his family and friends.

Darius loved his family. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, J.R. Briscoe and Frank Smith, as well as his uncle and aunt, James and Shannon Jones.

Among those who will miss him the most are his children, Jaxton, Rainey, and Christine whom he loved with all his heart. He was a proud and devoted father, and his greatest joy was spending time with them. He is also survived by his parents, Wesley and LaRhonda Jones; his grandparents, Ron and Christine Fleming and Roberta Smith; his sister, Raven Hicks, her husband Ryan, and their two sons, Kael and Elijah; his uncles and aunts, Bryan and LaDonna Conkling and Gary and Crystal Jones; his cousins, Josh Fleming, Carissa Finigan, and Tony Sosa; and someone who held a special place in his heart, Natasha. His family and friends will always remember his warmth, his humor, and the way he loved to make people laugh.

Darius lived with passion, creativity, and heart. He will be deeply missed, but the memories, music, and art he left behind will keep his spirit alive forever.
