Dariusz "Darek" Jalbrzykowski

Dariusz Jalbrzykowski, 58, of Bartonsville, passed away Friday, February 23, at home.
Born in Wysokie Mazowieckie, Poland, he was the son of Krystyna (Luniewska) Jalbrzykowska and the late Czeslaw Jalbrzykowski.
Dariusz was a very talented chef and the owner/operator of Babuni's Table in Brodheadsville for the last eight years. He moved from Poland to the United States on May 19th, 1990 and resided in Queens, NY before settling in Bartonsville, PA. He was a Polish Army Veteran serving two years in the military. He also received an Associate Degree in Medical Science. In addition to his restaurant business, he was a former dance instructor in Poland and construction worker in the United States. Dariusz will be deeply missed by all friends and family.
Dariusz is survived by Anthony Marella, his mother, Krystyna, his sister, Dorota Kraszewska, his brother, Marek Jalbrzykowski, his nephews Jakub and Michal, and niece, Lena and several great nieces and nephews; Anna, Magdalena, Katarzyna, Amelia, Barbara, and Tymon. Along with his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Krzysztof Jalbrzykowski.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 7:30 PM with Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will be on a later date at the convenience of the family back home in Wysokie Mazowieckie, Poland.
