Darlene Cooper Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home - Grand Prairie on Apr. 17, 2024.
Darlene Annette Cooper, (Annette), 60, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 in Emory, Texas with her loving son Raymond Terrell Scott and his wife Kandra by her side.
Annette was born in Dallas Texas. She spent time in Cedar Creek, Aransas Pass and Emory. Even though she may have wondered here and there she always stayed true to her deep Texas roots. Along with her beautiful smile, Annette will be remembered for her quit wit, sense of humor, laugh and the mere presence that she exuded when she entered the room. She is a beautiful woman that loved life and held strong long enough to make sure to complete the tasks she vowed to complete. She will be greatly missed and often remembered leaving a smile to all of us that knew her when reminiscing about "the good old days with Annette and Jackie". She always said she wants to be with her family and be surrounded with purple flowers when she sees Jesus. Her family made this a reality upon her passing.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Cooper, her father Jesse Cooper, Sister Jackie McCauley, brother Jesse lee Cooper JR, and her son Billy (BJ) Wayne Bruner.
Annette survived by her son Raymond Terrell Scott (Little Terrell), wife Kandra Scott, their children, her son Jim Bob Scott, her daughter Rachel Michelle Tackett and her children, aunt Odessa Cooper, aunt Naomie Johnston, uncle William Lambright and wife Paula, cousins Mary Deering and Cynthia Turner in addition to countless cousins, grandchildren and an entire host of family that love her very much.
Graveside Service will take place at 12 Noon on Monday April 22, 2024 at Elm Grove Cemetery located at 15737 CR 2831, Mabank, Tx 75156.
