Darlene R. (Doutrich) Garlick, 83, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 18, 2025 at her residence. Born June 4, 1942, Altoona, daughter of the late Ellery L. and Audrey M. (Kehler) Doutrich. Survived by her loving husband, C.R. “Dick” Garlick Sr.; daughter, Rhonda L. Graham and husband, Robert; son, C. Richard “Rich” Garlick and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Michael, James and partner Lorraine, Ashley, William, Davey and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Emma, Waylen, Walker and Wyatt; sisters-in-law, Rhoda and husband, Ron; and Shirley; many nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Goldie; and her friend and neighbor, Tammy Bergy. Preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Clifford and Charles Ulrich; sisters, Olive Fagan and Nyoka Hartley; brothers-in-law, Robert Fagan and Robert Hartley Sr.; and sisters-in-law, Elsie (Stotler), Goldie (Garman) and Edna (Shoenfelt). Darlene was a 1960 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a member of the Altoona Bible Church. Darlene enjoyed camping with her family and friends. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 6-8 p.m., Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11 a.m., Pastor Stewart McClelland officiant. Committal Blair Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Bellwood, with private burial to follow.
