Darlene Carole Nichols

April 12, 1941 – November 21, 2025

Darlene Carole Nichols, born to Frank David Heath and Lorraine Olive Rockwog Heath, on April 12, 1941, in Minneapolis, MN, was a beloved mother, friend, and community member. Known for her warm smile and willingness to lend a helping hand, Darlene was a beacon of compassion and kindness in every community she called home, from her birthplace in Minneapolis to her retirement residence in Brigham City, Utah.

Throughout her life, whether she was ice-skating or doing crossword puzzles, Darlene radiated joy and positivity, inspiring those around her to do the same.

In her professional life, Darlene was a dedicated Administrative Assistant at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where her exceptional typing skills were put to good use. Her meticulous nature and commitment to her work, coupled with her friendly demeanor, made her a respected and appreciated figure in her workplace.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Darlene was a woman of many talents and interests. From sports and reading to genealogy and crafts, her hobbies were as diverse as they were fulfilling. She had a particular love for sewing, knitting, and painting.

Darlene married Randall Nichols in Carson City, Neveda on May 7, 1971. They were married for 29 years until Randall's passing on November 20, 2000.

Darlene's service to others extended beyond her work and family life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was actively involved in the Young Women's, Relief Society, Primary, and was a Temple Worker at the Brigham City Temple

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Randall.

She is survived by her children Donald Conrad, Cheryl (Kevin) Keeney, Colleen (Jay) Jamison and her step-daughter Stacia Morgan, her brother George Heath along with (10) grandchildren and (20) great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
