Darlene "Dar" Skillen

Darlene "Dar" Skillen, Age 73 of Verona, passed away surrounded by family on Monday December 1, 2025. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Ronald W. Skillen, Sr. Loving Mother of Lisa (Mark) McCague, Ron Skillen, Jr., and T.J. (Lauren) Skillen. Proud Grandmother of Ashley (Jake), Hannah (Jeruel), Chris, Summer, Joey, Laney, Aiden, Abigail, Annie, and A.J. Great-grandmother of Luca and Maya Mangual. Sister of Patty (John) Hodil, Stush (Regina) Dudczak, Linda (late Butch) Graham, and Becky (John) Stockey. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family was everything to Dar especially her grandchildren. After Ron Sr.'s passing, she enjoyed traveling and spending as much time as possible and her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids and living with all three of her children during that time.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday December 6, 2025, from 1- 4 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation.
