DARLENE STRUIF Obituary
Resident of Schaumburg for 6 years
Visitation for Darlene Struif, 80, will be Saturday, January 31 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 3:00pm at Michaels Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.
Darlene was born March 3, 1945 in Chicago to the late Joseph and Regina Kuta, she peacefully passed away January 25, 2026 in Schaumburg.
Darlene loved hockey and never missed a Chicago Blackhawks game. She often went to games with her brother, Ken, making many happy memories together. Her favorite player was Marian Hossa, and she was a loyal fan through and through. Darlene was married to her late husband, Henry, for 40 years. She attended Living Hope Church in Elk Grove Village and had a strong faith. More than anything, Darlene loved her family, who meant the world to her.
Loving mother of Joseph, Robert, and Michael (Stephanie); beloved grandmother of Sarah, Diana, and Samuel; cherished sister of Kenneth (Susan) Kuta; dear friend and neighbor to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
