Mrs. Darlene Jean Welker, age 68, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. Born on April 1, 1957, Darlene had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that made everyone feel at home.
More than anything, Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, and treasured "Granny." Her family was her greatest joy, and they loved her deeply in return. Whether she was cheering from the sidelines at a sporting event or enjoying a simple afternoon with the family, Darlene was always there present, supportive, and full of love. Her loyalty to her family never wavered. She was their rock, their cheerleader, and their constant.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Esther Harper, and her brother, Charlie Williams.
Darlene is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Carl "Tooter" Welker; her children, Brian Welker (Denise), David Welker (Mary), Jody Welker (Kelsey), and Melissa Welker; and her beloved grandchildren: Jordan Milliken (Kyle), Nicole Kessell (Josh), Morgan Welker (Kendra), Wesley Welker (Isabella), Gracie Mickle (Jordan), Lindsey Welker, Max Welker, Kayden Welker, Mya Welker, Macy Welker, Miles Welker, Khloe Welker, and Koralai Welker.
She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Grayson, Oaklynn, Rosalyn, Knox, Jameson, Oliver, and Ira Jolene.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: Florence "Sissy" Futrell (H.B.), Frankie Patterson (Mike), and Gary Harper (Melissa).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, and will continue on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bro. Joe Shannon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Welker Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Welker, David Welker, Jody Welker, Wesley Welker, Charlie Williams, and Josh Kessell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Max Welker, Gary Harper, Mike Patterson, and Stephen Shedd.
