Mrytle Beach, SC- Memorial Services for Darrell Gene Boggs, 56, who entered into rest on February 24, 2025, will be conducted at a later date.
Darrell was born January 20, 1969, in Richwood, West Virginia and made Myrtle Beach, South Carolina his home. He worked in the construction industry for several years. The skills he learned while doing construction helped him with remodeling, refurbishing and roofing. Darrell was known as a "Jack of All Trades", and he enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a self-proclaimed chief with exceptional culinary skills that he learned from his mother. Darrell loved his children, former wife, parents, siblings and extended family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Darrell is preceded in death by his father, Terry Boggs, Sr.; his mother, Margaret Ann Maynard Helmick; stepfather, Melvin Helmick and brother, Mickey Boggs. Surviving members of the family left to cherish his memory include his children, Cameron Dale Boggs and Madelyn Noel Boggs; his former wife of 22 years, Amber Boggs; four siblings, Randy Boggs, Jackie Boggs, Terry Boggs and James Boggs; his caregiver and niece, Tiffany Pelfrey; five nieces, Tassy Boggs, Savanna Boggs, Maggie Boggs, Mya Hannah and Annie Doran and several nephews and best friend, Steve Henderson.
