Darrell attended West Roxbury High School in Boston, MA. He had a loving, sweet smile and, like his late grandfather, Mackie B. James he loved to dress, in a tie, shirt, and suit jacket. Darrell was charming and always had a line for the ladies. He had various jobs but working in sales was his favorite, because of his pleasant personality he was always well received. Darrell was loved by his very large family and will be greatly missed. He was loved by many at The Tabernacle of Praise in Randolph
Darrell leaves to mourn his beloved mother, Elizabeth James Divens, his aunts, jean Divens, Columbia S.C, Maxine James, uncles McArthur James (Debra), Walter James (Dorothy) all of Boston, MA, his great-uncle Stephen James, (Mary) Brockton, MA. Al Hicks, Boston, MA, James S. Hicks, Atlanta GA, great-aunt Bettye J. Hall, great-uncle Champ of Birmingham, Al. and a host of cousins and friends.
