Darrell Julius Lee

After a long and courageous battle with ALS Darrell Julius Lee passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 72. He fought ALS for over 15 years. His mother passed on her zest for life to him, he lived every day like it was his last and didn't let ALS change that. It did, however, allow him to do things that had been on his bucket list and make many great memories with his daughter Ashley and his granddaughter Kaylei.
Darrell was preceded in death by his Dad and mom. Levi and Coteal Lee And his sister Johanna Packard. He's survived by his daughter Ashley coteal Lee and granddaughter Kaylei Lee. Upon graduation Darrell joined the Air Force. After serving in the Vietnam War he was honorably discharged from USAF Darrell was then a auto mechanic, an assistant project manager for new home builders warranty supervisor and last but not least an over the road truck driver. He truly loved his family, helping others and of course the Ohio State buckeyes.
He will be interred at Bay Pines on November 16 at 2:30 and a funeral will be held on November 18 at 11 at Memorial Baptist Church 3693 S. E. 95th St., Ocala, Florida 34480 flowers can be sent to Memorial Baptist Church or you may send money to the Elizabeth Dole foundation.
