Darrell Glenn St.Romain, 35, was born March 30th, 1989 in Hammond, LA and passed away on October 12th, 2024 in Covington, LA after a very courageous battle with cancer. Darrell was known and will be missed for his big heart and his hard-working mentality.
Born in Hammond, Darrell spent most of his childhood in Independence, LA and had a gypsy soul until making his home in Ponchatoula, LA. He was a graduate of St. Amant High School, and entered the workforce almost immediately post-education. Darrell enjoyed spending what free time he had relaxing, spending time with his children, and the endless upkeep of various motor vehicles.
Darrell is survived by his children Alexis, Eli, and Beau, parents Pete Hull and Carol Wallace (Jabo), siblings Myrle Surcouf, Janey Duffy, James St.Romain (Alicia), Tiffany Wallace, Peydon Wallace; and grandmother Linda Jones.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents William 'Cooter' and Rosemary Hano, Myrle Hull, Sambo Tullos, and Robert Jones; parent Michael Jones; uncles J.J and David Hano; and mother-in-law Virginia Fuhrmann.
A memorial service for Darrell will be held on November 2nd, 2024 at the Wheeler's Place Center, 61126 Bennett Rd, Amite City, LA 70422. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with a a religious service to follow at 1:00 PM.
