John Darrell Williams, 54, of Clyde passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in an Abilene hospice facility. No services are scheduled at this time.
Darrell was born September 22, 1970, in Abilene to Jack and Katherine (Zay) Williams. He graduated from Clyde High School. He worked in construction and metal fabrication for many years and was a member of Fast Abilene Street Toys. He married Shirley Strange in Clyde on September 8, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Williams of Clyde; his wife, Shirley Williams of Clyde; three sons, Ryky Rogers of Abilene, Jason Rogers of Pine Junction, Colorado and J.D. Williams of Clyde; one daughter, Brittany Gibson of Plano; two brothers, Dwayne Williams of Clyde and David Crawson of Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Brad, Avery, Brylee, Kaylin, Caspian, Kaytie, Kaiden and Lilly; sister-in-law, Nancy Jones and husband Tom of Granbury; two brothers-in-law, Mike Langford and wife Vickie of Cisco and Mack Ayers and wife Anna of Clyde; special friends, Jeff Shankle, Junior Zamora, Pat O'Brien and Caboose and numerous nieces and nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Jack and his brother, David Robertson.
