Mr. Darren Antonio Johnson "D-Boy" as he was called by many was born on December 18, 1970 to the late Joyce Marie Johnson. On Tuesday February 11, 2025 he was called to join our Savior in that home not built by hands but whose maker and builder is God. Darren was educated by the Newport News School System. He graduated from Menchville High School and I promise you that he knew every soul that attended that school and then some because he was friendly and helpful to everyone that crossed his path.
Darren was an Auto Detailer that enjoyed his job but most of all he enjoyed life and he lived it to the fullest. Darren was always seen smiling. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, dancing, cooking on the grill, telling jokes and loving on his family and friends. He had an extreme Love for children and they definitely loved him back.
Darren was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Johnson and 3 uncles James Johnson, William Johnson and Ronald Johnson(Beverly).
He has left to celebrate his memory 4 aunts Shirley Johnson, Carolyn Cooper(James), Marilyn Johnson, Beverly Johnson( Ronald) and a host of cousins and friends.
The Johnson family would like to thank everyone that showed love and compassion during their time of grief.
May God Bless you all.
Fellowship and Food will be held at 2119 Oak Ave. N.N. 23607. Please come and join us in celebrating "D-Boy".
