Kenneth Charles Keller
February 27, 1957 – August 7, 2025
Kenneth Charles Keller, affectionately known as "Kenny" and "Scrappy" to those who loved him most, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 68.
Kenny was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 27, 1957. In 1970, he moved to Newport News, Virginia, where he would spend the rest of his life. He graduated from Menchville High School in 1975 and went on to work in carpentry for 25 years before taking on a new role as a warehouse manager at US Tool and Grinding.
Kenny had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found working in his yard or tending to his many plants. When the sun went down, his attention turned to his indoor greenery, a true testament to his green thumb. A loyal Washington Redskins fan to the end-yes, Redskins, not Commanders-Kenny never wavered in his team spirit.
Above all else, Kenny loved his family fiercely. He married his beloved "Babe," Rhonda, in September 1986. Together they built a life full of love and laughter, welcoming their daughter Torian in 1987, and their son K.C. seven years later. His grandchildren, Caedance and Cassius, were the light of his life. Known to them simply as "Scrappy," he wore the title with pride and joy.
Kenny was a hardworking and dedicated man who always put his family first. His sense of humor, strong work ethic, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Rhonda; daughter Torian and her husband DJ; son K.C.; grandchildren Caedance and Cassius; and his sister Cathy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Anne, and his brother Jerry.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Grafton Baptist Church, 5440 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer's Foundation in Kenny's honor.

To Kenny´s family,

I saw Kenny almost every day when I delivered freight to his ware house, he always made time to talk with me. We´d laugh, swap barbecue stories, and he had a way of lifting my spirits when I was down. I´ll miss him more than I can say.

With deepest sympathy,
Jon Lotrean

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I work for a local freight company and frequently made deliveries to Kenny at US tool he was one of my favorite people to see during my work day. I had been to US tool in about a month or so and was saddened to learn of his passing. God bless and prayers for you
