A Celebration of Life Visitation for Darrin Jessie Lee, age 60, of Lumberton, MS, who passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, will be held Saturday, March 08, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Slidell, La. Who found his home in Mississippi. A brick mason all his life, to say he was a hard worker, and selfless
provider would be nothing short of an understatement. Beloved father, grandfather, Husband, and friend took his leave February 23, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.
Darrin was a Harley man and an avid Saints and LSU fan. To know him was to know his love for children and more so their love for him.
Darrin enjoyed nothing more than being with his family and friends, had a passion for helping those in need, a man who always had time for everyone.
He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who know and love him. Ride Free Darrin Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Lee, Sr. and Marilyn Highsmith Lee; his son, Jessie Lee; and his sisters, Annette Crapps and Bridgette Lee, and the mother of his children, Sandra Nell Halbrook.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sonya Grayson Lee; his children, Amanda (Derek) Gossett, Celeste (Jacobie) Halbrook, Derek (Jassy) Smith, Justin Lee and Jamie Lee Dylon Nores, Adrian Jones, Michael (Gabriella) Shirley, and Shellbi Morse; his grandchildren, Angel, Chase, Abby, Alexia, Isaiah, Kyrin, Layla, Braxton, Lukas, Brooklyn, and Ellie Mae; his great grandchildren, Ellieana, Alaina, Everleigh, and Madeline; his brother, Elmer (Donna) Lee, Jr., and his sister, Cherie Dossman; Walter Perry Wedgeworth, son figure and Ashley Sneed, daughter figure.
