Darrin Roberts Watson

Darrin Roberts Watson, age 59, of LaGrange, passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on November 16, 1964, to Frances Roberts Watson and the late Arthur W. Watson.
Mr. Darrin is survived by his mother, Frances Roberts Watson; his brother, Don Watson (Nancy); his nephew and niece, Jim Watson (Sheridan) and Allison Moon (Dave); his great-nephews, Blake Moon and Thomas Moon; his cousins, Lori Hart (Chuck) and Mason Hart; his aunt, Mildred Roberts; his friend, Gail Lester (Jesse); his cousins and other extended family.
Darrin is a faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church where he began to attend as a child with his family at the beginning of the church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior as a youth and lived his Christian testimony in loving hugs that he enthusiastically offered to all with an "I love you" that he truly meant. The love of Christ was shown in a living testimony that he carried in the world, at church, or with his family at home. He loved to travel with his family for vacation and visiting all his extended family who he loved. Darrin carried an abundance of joy with him and shared his joy with all around him. He especially loved time spent with his nephew and niece, cousins, and children of his family and friends. He was a faithful son being a comfort to his dad and mom who lovingly cared for him all his life. When Jesus said, "suffer the little children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of God" He spoke of the simple faith in Him that Darrin lived and shared in a remarkable life. "Well done My good and faithful servant."
The funeral service will be held at Rosemont Baptist Church on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM until service time on Sunday. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Meadoway Gardens. Pastor Adam Camp, Pastor Max McCord, and Pastor Ikey Watson will officiate the service.
