Darryl Burnside Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Premier Funeral Services - Salt Lake City on Apr. 2, 2024.
Darryl Glen Burnside, 60, was born on June 23, 1963, and left this world on March 30, 2024. He peacefully passed away of natural causes surrounded by family. He left behind the love of his life Christine Huber along with his 4 children Ashley Burnside, Breanne Burnside (Adrian Mejia), Dylan Burnside, Katie Burnside (Gabriel Guevara), and his 14 grandchildren Annabre, Noah, Benntley, Dallas, Kayceton, Zayden, Layla, Felix, Linkin, Kyllion, Julian, Ivy, Keaton, and unborn.
Darryl was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dorothy L. Roundy and Glen D. Burnside. Survived by his three sisters Sandra Hardman (Mel Hardman), Terry Burnside, RaGina Hancock (Joe Hancock), his aunt Bonnie Gabrielson (Gary Gabrielson) and his longtime friend Clint Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his three sisters Linda Burnside, Patricia Burnside, Jodie Burnside, his parents, his uncle James Peters, and his son in law Cody Johnson.
Darryl was loved by all; he was cheerful and funny with a great sense of humor and all his uncensored jokes. He was very artistic with his woodwork and drawings. He loved his yard work and being out in the sun to catch a tan. He loved to go camping and fishing with the ones he loved. His grandchildren loved when he did his Donald duck voice and gave them sweets out of his candy jar. He loved living in Tooele with his longtime friend Douglas Stevens and his Yorkies Butch, and Lulu along with his chickens.
Darryl will be missed by many and never forgotten. He is now at peace in heaven, and he will be looking over the ones he loves. Although our life's journeys have bid us to be apart, we are with you and you are with us, always in our hearts. It's not Goodbye it's a see you LATER!
We love and miss you dearly.
A two hour open casket viewing will be held at the Premier Funeral Services in Midvale for anyone that wants to attend.
