Darwin Bauer Obituary
He is survived by three children, Dale Bauer of Palmetto, FL, Debra and Don Allen of Spring, TX, Doreen and Herman Barfield, of Pikeville, TN; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; a sister, Marilyn Williams of Lowville, a brother, Charles Bauer of Buna, TX; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a sister-in-law, Jackie Bauer.
Darwin was born on August 23, 1938 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Charles and Bernice Hawk Bauer. He attended school locally and served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960. Darwin worked as a gas fueler for Stevenson Aviation, Vandalia, OH for many years, until his retirement.
A private graveside service will be held at Old Glendale Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
