BARRE TOWN - Daryl Edward Belville, 59, passed away at the UVM Medical Center from complications of pneumonia, pancreatitis, and multiple organ failure. He was born on March 24, 1966, at McFarland Hospital in Barre, Vermont, to Jean Belville and Clesson "Buster" Winters. Daryl attended Montpelier High School before earning his GED. Afterward, he moved to central Florida, where he successfully owned and operated an auto repair garage for several years. He later returned to Vermont, beginning a career in manufacturing until a severe back injury led to permanent disability. A devoted fan of Dale Earnhardt and professional auto racing, Daryl also cherished watching his beloved New England Patriots. He was a passionate collector of sports memorabilia, proudly curating extensive collections over the years. Above all, his greatest joy and pride was his daughter, Brianna. His soul center of focus was always for his daughter, his only child, and that special bond between the two was obvious for all to see. Our hearts are heavy for her. Daryl was predeceased by his mother, Jean Belville, just four months prior to his passing, and by his father, Clesson "Buster" Winters, in 1993. He is survived by his daughter, Brianna (23); two sisters, Cherrie (60) and Cindy (57); and five brothers, Bill (65), Randy (64), Craig (63), Tim (56), and Chuck (55). Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home. A celebration of life for family and close friends will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Daryl's home on Snowbridge Road in South Barre. This gathering will be a potluck; hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, and guests are kindly asked to bring a dish to share. Arrangements are in the care of Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St. in Barre. Those wishing to express online condolences may do so at www.pruneaupollifuneralhome.com
