Mr. Daryl Duane Weeks, 62, of Temple, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
Daryl was born January 7, 1963 in Plant City, Florida the son of the late Troy Weeks and the late Betty Weeks. He was a truck driver for Green for Life. Daryl enjoyed using his culinary skills by cooking for friends and family. He enjoyed singing, had a passion for going on cruises and took joy in going to the beach. His love for the Lord shone brightly through his actions to others and his compassionate spirit. Daryl loved Jesus and never missed an opportunity to witness to all he came in contact with. His steadfast faith was nurtured at First Baptist Church in Villa Rica, where he was a dedicated member and part of the Peeples Life Group.
In addition to his parent, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Weeks.
Daryl is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tami Olsen Weeks of Temple, children, Tanda Weeks of Tennessee, Makayla and Bailey MacIlveen of Huntsville, AL, Helena Weeks of Temple, Levi Hanson of Temple, Charlie Hanson of Temple, siblings, Pam Ritcher of Marianna, FL, Karen Windguard of Marianna, FL and many friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Villa Rica.
Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica with Dr. Kevin Williams officiating and Lee Peeples will deliver the eulogy. The Peeples Life Group will serve as honorary escorts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made in Daryl's memory to First Baptist Church Villa Rica Mission Ministry, 1483 W. Hwy 78, Villa Rica, GA. 30180.
