DaShawn Laneal Padgett, 24, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on November 29, 2024. He was born on October 11, 2000, in Edgewood, Kentucky, to Daryl Padgett and Maxine Goodhew.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, DaShawn served his country with honor and dedication. He was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and a work ethic that inspired those around him. DaShawn was a detail-oriented individual, whether he was working on his beloved cars or spending time with family and friends. His sense of humor and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone who knew him.
DaShawn cherished the time he spent with his loved ones, and his family was the center of his world. He is survived by his devoted mother: Maxine Goodhew, his father, Daryl Padgett and his stepfather, Wesley Kiraly. He leaves behind siblings Ashley Goodhew, Tyreke Padgett, Genesis Padgett, Shyann Wright, Jeffrey Edwards, and James Sullivan, as well as a host of relatives and friends who will miss him deeply.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Pride Park Community Center in Taylor Mill, KY. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and honor DaShawn's life and legacy.
