Nancy Sue Priestle

Nancy Sue Priestle, 70, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Maysville, Kentucky, on September 4, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on February 8, 1955, in Hickory, North Carolina, to the late Peggy and John Bridges, Jr.

Nancy lived a remarkable life marked by selflessness, dedication, and love. She devoted 15 years as a Jockey employee in Maysville, demonstrating her strength and resilience before transitioning to a fulfilling career as a Home Health Nurse. For 20 years, she devoted herself to caring for others, showing kindness and compassion that made her an irreplaceable part of the lives of those she served.

Those who knew Nancy remember her as a woman with a heart as big as her talent for cooking, baking and sewing. She found joy in making others happy, whether it was through her delicious meals or the thoughtful gestures she made to everyone around her. A truly selfless soul, Nancy never asked for anything in return, always giving her time, love, and energy to her family and friends.

Above all, Nancy was an incredible mother. Her love and devotion to her children were unwavering, and she will be remembered as the most amazing mother anyone could ask for. Her children, along with her grandchildren, were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. At Nancy's request, she will continue to help even after her passing by donating her body to help the medical community in their studies.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 34 years: Barry Jones; brothers: Don Bridges, Jerry Bridges and Earnest Riley.

Nancy leaves behind her 2nd husband of 10 years: Thomas Priestle; sister: Julie Zimmerman; son: Joshua (Kristina Hamm) Jones; daughter: Erin (Eric) Kegley; grandchildren: Abagail (Keegan) McQueen, Austin Jones, Canyon Kegley, Phoenix Keegley, Chase Jones, Taylor Jones, Krista Hamm and Trevor Hamm and great-grandchildren: Ella Rose, Adilae, Laela, Della Rae, Garrett and Weston.
