Daunte' Antonio Shropshire was born December 30, 1998, in Columbia, SC. He was the son of Scottie (Carolyn) Shropshire and Tammy Harris Shropshire. He departed his earthly journey on Monday, July 11, 2022.
At an early age Daunte' was dedicated to the Lord at Victory Faith Fellowship, now Chosen 2 Conquer International Ministries under the leadership of Pastors Pedro Jr. and Maria Maldonado. He also attended Right Direction Church and fought to maintain his walk with the Lord.
Daunte' attended public schools in Richland County. His favorite sports were football and basketball. Known to be a "class clown", Daunte' brought joy to others through his humorous and charismatic personality. He was a graduate of Benedict College Development Center in Columbia, SC where he earned his contractor and welding license. He enjoyed working as an independent contractor utilizing his skills in construction and providing various scopes of services.
Daunte' was protective and respectful to those he loved. He possessed a beautiful smile that conveyed positive energy where ever he went. He has left behind a legacy of love for God, his two sons, his family and others who will always cherish his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Lea Harris Brewer; his paternal grandparents, Lathersir Mae Mackey Shropshire and Heyward Shropshire.
Those left to cherish his loving memories are his two sons, Mekhi Reginal Lee Johnson and Izsak King Shropshire; his loving parents, Tammy Harris Shropshire and Scottie (Carolyn) Shropshire; his maternal grandparents, Timothy C. (Larverne) Harris; his two brothers, Scottie R. (Antoinette) Shropshire, and Demetrius S. (Samaria) Shropshire; and his sister Dominique R. Harris; and two nieces, Za'niyah and Harmoni Shropshire; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
