Davey passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his home.
Davey Lee Lass was born November 11, 1947 at West Point, NE to Christy C. and Eva (Johnson) Lass. He attended rural school and attended Scribner High School.
Davey was united in marriage to Sharon Malzahn on June 18, 1966 at West Point, NE. Davey worked for Dodge County, building bridges, then began working at the West Point IBP plant for 30 years until the Tyson plant closed. He then worked at Smeal Manufacturing until retirement.
Davey enjoyed fishing, camping, watching NASCAR, helping his son at BBQ contests, and tending to his garden and flowers.

Son-David Lass of Snyder, NE
Daughter-Cynthia Lass of West Point, NE
Grandchildren- Felicia and Nick Harding and children-Niomi, Damian, Bentley and Jason,
Chris and Sydney Lass, and Jacob Lass
Brother-Lewis Lass of West Point, NE
Brother-Rodney and Mavis Lass of Snyder, NE
Sister-Neva Faltin of Fremont, NE
Brother-Clifford and Doreen Lass of Norfolk, NE
Brother-Mike and Ann Lass of West Point, NE
Nieces and nephews
Davey was preceded in death by his parents-Christy and Eva Lass, uncle-Lamont Lass, sister-in-law-Marti Lass, and nephew-Tim Lass.
