David Alan Adams, born on March 24, 1954, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He led a life characterized by warmth, humor, and an unwavering dedication to those he cherished.

David honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a testament to his commitment and bravery. After his military service, he worked as a handyman subcontractor until his retirement, demonstrating his strong work ethic and resourcefulness. In his own words, “If I can’t fix it, it ain’t broke!”

David was a family man and a creative spirit with a great sense of humor. He had a passion for poetry and painting, which allowed him to express his thoughts and feelings artistically. His interests included tinkering and building model cars, activities that he thoroughly enjoyed. David cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, such as taking his grandson Lucas riding in the truck, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter.

He is survived by a loving family, including his devoted wife, Cheryl Adams; daughters Shannon Adams, Melena Mellinger, and Jessica McCauley; son David Adams II; grandchildren Devin, Triston, Jace, Justice, Brandon, Marissa, Micah, Macen, Lucas, and Nathan, who will carry forward his spirit and love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Adams and Margie Frick Adams, and his brothers Barry Adams and Jerry Adams.

David Alan Adams’ selfless nature shone through in every aspect of his life, leaving a lasting impact on his family, who admired and respected him deeply. He will be remembered fondly for his intelligence, humor, and the profound love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
