Mr. David Emanuel Anderson a lifelong resident of Daphne, Alabama was born, October 16, 1947, to Ludy and Mary Anderson. He departed this life, surrounded by the love of God and family on, December 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Anderson, brother, Ludy Anderson, brother, Lester Anderson, father, Ludy Anderson, mother, Mary Anderson, sister, Mattie Russ, and sister, Margie Jordan.
He was a Veteran of the United States Airforce until his retirement. Throughout his life he was man that wore many hats: a husband, a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a mechanic, a farmer, a fisherman, a first-class chef, a comedian, a friend, a counselor, a healer, and teacher. And then He was a HUNTER! The "call of the wild" brought him every year to the Happy Hollow Hunting Club, where he was a member for over 50 years. He was not a man of many words, but when he spoke you listened. He had a way of speaking simply and plain that made even the largest problem seem small.
David loved his family near and far. Every year he'd travel to the Anderson family "Homecoming" in McWilliams, AL. It was tradition and as it was passed to him by his father, he passed it along to his children. He loved his daughters, and often referred to them as his "Jewels".
He accepted Christ at an early age and remained faithful until the end. He loved God, and he loved his church, Concordia Lutheran.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Jean Anderson; Children: Kiera Whiting of Daphne, AL, Loni Anderson of Daphne, AL, Dena Anderson of Daphne, AL, Ni-Cole (Roger) Hill of Macon, GA, Juwanna Anderson of Atlanta, GA, and Cassandra (Wesley) Williams of Atlanta, GA: a sister, Dorothy Crosby of Fairhope, AL, Rev. Paul (Judy) Anderson of Chicago, IL; Ten Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
