David J. Baskin, Sr., of Bristol, PA, passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 72. He was the beloved husband of Kim S. Baskin (nee Roth); the loving father of David Jr., Daniel and his wife Keeson, and Scot and his wife Sarah; the cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Tori, Daniel and his wife Gracyn, Hunter, Scoty, Gabby, Izzy, Kylie, Chase, Gavin, Tasey; and great-grandfather of Jace; the dear brother of Bonnie Clift and her husband John, Mike Baskin, Rick Baskin and his wife Suzi, and Amy Zielinski and her husband Frank. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Michael Jette and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Jette, and his parents, Richard and Marie Baskin.
Dave was an avid Hunter and fisherman and cherished having his entire family with him during these hobbies. He was a fanatic Philly sports team fan and often bragged of his opportunity to try out for the Eagles twice with a call back! He also loved to reminisce of his early years of playing mens fast pitch softball and traveling state to state with his wife and boys in tow. He was extremely proud of the time they qualified for the State Championships in the early 90's. Dave was also a long time plumbing business owner with his best friend Bob and continued his business after his friends passing. He shared his knowledge of plumbing with his sons and helped them start their own businesses.
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering in celebration of David's life on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by his Memorial Service, 6:00 p.m., at Molden Funeral Home, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA.
