David A. Becker passed away November 6th, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis April 21st, 1944, to parents Arnold and Mildred Becker.

David grew up in Indianapolis. He proudly served his country in the United States military.  

He worked at Eli Lilly for many years before retiring.

In 1985, he married the love of his life, Sarah “Sue” “Snookie” Buckman. They shared many wonderful years together. Sue passed away September 2022.

David was a selfless, loving gentleman. When he and Snookie were younger, they enjoyed fishing and cruising on his motorcycle. They loved going out to eat. In his free time, David enjoyed watching college football. He was a dedicated family man and a father figure to many. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his loved ones.

 He is survived by his children Lori Crane, Julie Napier, and Michelle Benedetto; grandchildren Jennifer Burns, Bradley Napier, Kourtney Napier, and Daniel Cash; great-grandchildren Jordan Bray, Gavin Burns, Bradley Napier, Savannah Napier, Caiden Napier, Corbin Napier, Banks Napier, Caden Williams and Blythe Eldridge; siblings Kevin (Judy) Becker, Noel (Barbara) Becker, Sandy Rash; and 13 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved Snookie, his son Jeffrey Napier, and siblings Larry Becker and Joan Spencer.

Visitation for David will be Friday November 10th, from 11-1pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. His funeral will begin at 1pm.
