I met Dave Becker at Buffalo State College, where we dated during our freshman year. He was always a gentleman, always kind, and fun! I am so sorry he suffered with Parkinson's, a truly terrible disease. If there is a heaven, Dave is there.

So many wonderful memories come to mind when I think about Dave. He was always so funny and had a way of making people laugh. One of my most favorite memories was when Dave drove me down to Boeing Field and arranged my first ever introductory flight. He shared so many exciting stories from his extensive aviation career on the way there. It was such an exciting experience for me, and one that eventually would lead to my own professional career in aviation. I owe a great deal of credit to Dave and will forgever be grateful for him guiding me down this path.

My second dad in many ways, during my Jr High years, as Jenny's best friend. He always welcomed me into your home with a warmth that made it feel like my own. Much love to your whole family. I'm terribly sorry to hear of Dave's passing, and of the physical trials he endured. How fortunate he was to be so loved by his family, and how blessed to were to share this life with him. My deepest condolences to your family.
