David Belanger, also known as Joe, 44, of Nampa, Idaho, gained his wings on February 25, 2026, at 8:36 p.m. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in a beautiful twist of fate, and joined in eternal rest.
He is sharing a joyous reunion with open arms and lots of hugs as he joins his parents, Yvonne Belanger, Jacinta Dorsey, and James H. Dorsey; his brother, Herman Henry Garcia; and man’s best friend, his dog, Sinq on his father’s birthday.
He leaves behind a legacy of love through his two daughters, Mandy Belanger and Natalie Wood; and his wife, soulmate, and best friend, Susie Belanger of Nampa, Idaho, along with all of his family and friends whom he knew and loved very much.
David loved listening to music, playing video games, shooting guns, cooking, BBQs, camping with his family, and watching movies. He also had a love and passion for horror movies, especially Vincent Price films, The Last Man on Earth, The Tingler, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
You will be deeply missed, always and forever. Only if love could have saved you.
“I will search for you through a thousand worlds and ten thousand lifetimes until I find you.”
“When I go, don’t learn to live without me. Just learn to live with my love in a different way. And if you need to see me, close your eyes or look in your shadow when the sun shines. I’m there. Sit with me in the quiet, and you will know that I did not leave. There is no leaving when one soul is blended with another. When I go, don’t learn to live without me. Just learn to look for me in the moments. I will be there.”
