ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Matthew Barzare will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, honoring the life of Anna Marie Boudreaux Belanger, 76, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be James Belanger Jr., Earnest Clement, Troy St. Germain, Kody Nugier, Randall Nugier and Devin Douet.
Anna was a proud graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1967. Throughout her life, she embodied the values of dedication and love, particularly as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family and ensuring their well-being was always her foremost priority. She found joy in gardening, embracing the beauty of nature, and was an avid reader who enjoyed losing herself in the pages of her favorite books.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10: AM until 9 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
She is survived by her daughters, Jamie St. Germain and her husband Troy, and Rhonda Clement and her husband Ernest; son, James Allen Belanger, Jr.; grandchildren, Kody Nugier, Heather Douet, Randall Nugier, and Lucille Belanger; great grandchildren, Gregory Conner, Xavier Conner, and Oliver Nugier; step grandchildren, Victoria St. Germain, Gabriel Clement, and Brittny Chaisson.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, James Belanger, Sr.; father, Wilson Boudreaux; mother, Helen Palombo Boudreaux; sister, Geraldine Schexnaider; brother, Earl J. Boudreaux; great-granddaughter, Enyo Conner; and step-grandson, Joshua St. Germain.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and the staff for their excellent care of Mrs. Anna.
