David A. Bille

David Allan Bille, 70, of Brewster, OH passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, March 19, 2023 after an extended illness. He was born in Canton, OH on June 18, 1952 and was the son of Margaret (Krichbaum) and James W. Bille who preceded him in death.
He was a 1970 graduate of Fairless High School and attended Kent State University. Dave loved telling people he was a Certified Master Cheesemaker for over 45 years and took great pride in his career path. Dave was the Cheese Plant Manager at Brewster Dairy and he was also a Consultant for many local Dairies in the area. He was named the Grand Champion of the Swiss Cheese Association in 1983, 1984 and Co-champion in 1986 and also received accolades from many National Cheese competitions.
His family moved frequently during his childhood and lived in Minerva, Robertsville and Canton. They moved to Brewster in 1968 where he lived the remainder of his days.
Dave dated his high school sweetheart Anita (Baker) Bille since August 1969. They were married on August 17, 1974 and resided in Brewster their entire marriage. He is also survived by his sons and family, Kevin and Erin Bille, James (Jimmy) and Sara Bille. They have six grandchildren, Camden, Grant, Easton, Dominic, Cecilia and Jack. The things he loved immensely were spending time with his family and going to watch his grandkids school and sporting events. They all had so much fun in the summer in their pool and hosting picnics with family and friends.
He is survived by his sister Jackie Contini and brother Tim (Donna) Bille. Also brother in laws and sister in laws Tim (Brenda) Baker, Nelda (John) Dye, Dick (Vickie) Baker, Loretta (Mike) Raff, Theresa (Cary) Lemon and Mandy (Eric) Geiser and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Spidell Funeral Home, 209 Chestnut Street, Brewster, OH, where the Knights of Columbus will be holding a Rosary Service in Dave's honor at 4:30 pm. A Catholic mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Parish (St. Clement's) at 216 Wooster Street NE, Navarre, OH 44662 on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:30 am..
