David B. Blessent

David B. Blessent, age 69, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. David was born on November 13, 1955, in Joliet, IL, to the late Eugene and Barbara (Cook) Blessent.
David graduated in 1973 from the Joliet West High School in Illinois. After graduation, he entered the workforce as a machinist at Caterpillar, Inc. David moved to the Tomahawk area in the early 1980's where he built and repaired hydraulic jacks. He later was an over-the-road truck driver who took great pride in his job; a job he truly loved. David was an avid music lover who enjoyed Blues, especially Stevie Ray Vaughan. A talented mechanic with a passion for cars, racing, and motorcycles, David was known for his remarkable ability to fix anything mechanical.
Survivors include his son, David Blessent, of Little Chute, WI; and his brothers, Stephen (Mary) Blessent, of Milton, FL, and Paul (Robin) Blessent, of Shorewood, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Barbara; and his wife, Janet.
In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
