David Brady Obituary
On October 22, 2025 our beloved David passed away peacefully at Grace Davis Hall, Hospice of Marion County, Ocala, Florida. He was 81 years old. He was born on June 1, 1944 in Niles, Michigan to David Sherman and Mary Elizabeth Wagoner Brady. David was a businessman for 61 years specializing in heavy equipment sitework, asphalt, paving and underground utilities. He loved the outdoors and his biggest hobby was building and riding aircraft engine airboats. He was a real marsh trail blazer. The rougher the terrain the more he loved the challenge.
He is preceded by both parents; sister, Davetta Kay Brady Goin; niece, Tonya Goin.
He leaves to remember always his wife of 62 years, Lela Frances Saunders Brady; children, David George Brady Jr and Penny Renee Brady DeGroot; son in law Eric DeGroot; grandchildren, David William and Dillon George Brady, Brady Alexander and Lydia Kay DeGroot; sister, Mary Lynn Brady Kerrigan; nephews, Zachary Adam Kerrigan, Marc and Brian Rogers
A celebration of Life and Memorial will be held 1:00 p.m. December 6, 2025 at Countryside Funeral Home Chapel in Anthony, Florida. If you wish, donations can be sent to Grace Davis Hall, Hospice of Marion County in his name.
