Evonne Jean Tindell, age 85, of Ft. McCoy, Florida, went home to be with her Lord on November 15, 2025. She was born July 25, 1940, in Norcross, Minnesota, a beloved daughter of Ronald and Agnes Jacobson.
Evonne was a woman of deep faith and boundless love. Her unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ shone through in everything she did--most especially in her devotion to her husband, her family, and her church family at Mill Creek Baptist Church. Known for her compassionate heart and gentle spirit, she lived by her favorite verse: "The joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). She touched countless lives and will be profoundly missed.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Ken Jacobson and Stan Jacobson; her sister Gloria; her granddaughter Miranda Hill; and her great-grandson Makai Hill.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of many years, Lavon Tindell; her daughter, Lawana Marcinko; her brother, Bradley Jacobson; her sister, Claudia Muse; grandchildren Cortney Neill and Peter Neill; great-grandchildren Brooklyn Berry, Brilonne Hill, and AvynnliHill; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
