DAVID ANTHONY BROWN, SR.

David Anthony Brown, Sr. entered eternal rest at Marrero Healthcare Center on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 57. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. David was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was a former intermodal truck driver with F&T Trucking. David was a community leader, and he assisted with the ROTC, Football and the band at West Jefferson High School. Husband of Patricia M. Brown. Beloved father of Victoria, Joshua, Dominique, David, Jr., Nasir, and D’Anthony. Grandfather of the late Baby Brown. Son of the late Tom Brown, Jr. and Lois Gipson. Stepson of the late Larry Gipson. Grandson of the late Rev. Louis Cincore, Sr. and Elvira Strider. Brother of Corey Brown, Sr., Roslyn Robert, and Julie Brown (McDonald) Bessie. Great uncle of the late Marcus Brown, Jr. Nephew of the late Rev. Tyronne Cincore, Sr., also survived a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
