David F. Brusco, 86, of Caldwell, N.J., passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell. A service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, immediately followed by the burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, NJ
Born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and a lifelong resident of Caldwell, Mr. Brusco graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and earned a degree in Chemistry from Drew University.
Mr. Brusco was the co-owner of Caldwell Photo in Caldwell for many years before retiring. Prior to that he was a chemist at McWilliams Forge Co. and Sandoz.
He was an avid amateur photographer, who carried his camera everywhere taking pictures. Mr. Brusco was also an enthusiastic train buff
An Army veteran, he proudly served as a chemist at the Chemical Proving Grounds in Dugway, UT, before being honorably discharged in 1964.
The beloved son of the late Patsy and Dorothy (nee Moran) Brusco, he was the loving brother of Donn and Linda Brusco and Richard D. Brusco; cherished uncle to Pattie and Jeff Kellmyer, their children, Naomi and Ashley, Tracy Anagnostis, her children, Alexandra and Gregory; David J. Brusco, his daughter, Ella, and Richard and Cynthia Brusco, their children, Hudson and Henry.
