David B. Casey, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the age of 45. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA. David was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and attended Nicholl State University. He served his country in the United States Army. David was employed as a UXO Tech, working various positions and in several countries. Beloved husband of Deidre “Dei” Casey. Loving father of Desani Casey, Taireek Casey, Deiondre Casey, and Trinidee Casey. Grandfather of Reign Casey. Son of David B. Casey, Sr. and Miriam E. Casey. Grandson of the late Vivian Casey (Yorlando), Rose Higgins-Lewis, Wilson Amos, Jr., and Oliver Cadres. Brother of Amanda Johnson (Mario), Elizabeth Casey (Ronald), Christopher and Joshua Casey. Godson of Michelle Jasper. Son in law of Donna Tann, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
