David B. Casey, age 68, of Gloversville, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Born in Albany, NY, on July 18, 1957, he was the son of the late John and Theresa (MacGlarry) Casey. David dedicated over 20 years of his career to Verizon, from which he retired in 2020. In his retirement, he found great joy in gardening and looked forward to his annual winter trips to Florida to escape the cold.

While he had an adventurous spirit and loved traveling the world to see new places, David's greatest joy was always the time he spent with his family. His warm presence at family gatherings will be profoundly missed.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his dear friends. Many cherished memories were made going to dinner with Harold and Dawn, sharing laughter and causing a ruckus at camp with Ben and Anita, and spinning a yarn for anyone who would listen at Merrill Gardens.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his aunt Agnes MacGlarry, his sisters Theresa Jackson and Sharon Lloyd, his sons, Shaun, David, and William; his cherished grandchildren, Angel, Chris,Koby Tucker, Paige,Raven, Katrina, and Aleena; and his great-grandchildren, Aidan and Bonnie.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Ada Casey.
