David Randall Chaffins, age 63, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home in Mouthcard, Ky. David was born on Dec. 14, 1961 to his parents the late Matthew Chaffins and Reatha Lucille Stiltner Chaffins. He was a retired coal miner and loved doing carpentry work. David was also a member of the State Line Free Pentecostal Church at Mouthcard, Ky.
Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Dean Chaffins and two sisters, Shirley Chaffins and Linda Blair.
David is survived by three children, Sheila Marie Kinder, David Reece (Sabrina) Chaffins, Aleigha LaShell Chaffins, three brothers, Donnie Chaffins, Ronnie Chaffins, Lucky Chaffins, and three sisters, Brenda Rehbein, Connie Yawn, Reatha Ratliff, and a host of loving family and friends.
There will be a graveside service only on Friday at 1 P.M. at the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana with Jessie Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
