David Collins Obituary
He was born on April 5, 1949 in Muncie, the oldest son of Glenn F. and Dorothy E. (Hole) Collins and graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1967. David served his country honorably in the US Air Force from 1969-1973 during the Vietnam Era.
He worked for Pepsi-Cola for 36 years until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed camping.
Surviving are one brother, Ronald Collins (wife, Deborah) of Muncie; one sister, Linda Gustin (husband, Jim); nieces and nephews, Craig Collins (wife, Ramya Rajan), Emily Binford (husband, Austin), Kris Gustin and Kelley Dillon (husband, Andy); and great-nieces and nephews, Cora, Adalynn, Lainey, Madisen, Braden, Brinley and Braylee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Beech Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Graves officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
