DAVID WILLIAM CRAWFORD age 81, beloved husband of the late Mary A. Kowalski for 20 years; loving father of Tami R. Pritchard (nee Crawford) of New York, David W. Crawford Jr. of Kentucky, Tracy L. Crawford of Georgia, Stacey A. Taylor (nee Crawford) of Florida, Richard L. (Ashley) Brockway of New York, and James A. Brockway of New York; devoted grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of many; cherished son of the late George A. and Rose Elizabeth (nee Dotzler) Crawford; dearest brother of Mabel (Joshua) Kopp of Ohio, Steven Crawford of Georgia, and the late George A. Crawford Jr.

David was born on June 15, 1943, in Rome, New York and has been a resident of Chesterland, Ohio for the last 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 -1964. Upon leave from the Air Force, he dedicated many years as a truck driver, a machinist, and a man capable of fixing and driving just about anything. David was an avid member of the local RC community. He enjoyed building and rebuilding RC airplane parts. Although he had a knack for teasing and embarrassing the ones he loved, he had an ability of displaying admirable strength and knowledge. On September 10, 2024, David passed away.

A burial service will be held at Point Rock Cemetery in New York at a later date.
