David Lynn Cunningham

David Lynn Cunningham, 80, of Fremont, OH, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at his home. He was born on March 23, 1945 in Fremont, OH to Ransom and Dora (Smith) Cunningham. Dave was a graduate of Frankton High School.

David married Linda Lou Bryant on March 24, 1974 in Fremont, OH and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2018. Dave worked for Chemi-Trol Chemical Company for over thirty years. He retired from Zimmerman Paint Company in 2006. Dave enjoyed fixing and reselling classic cars especially Corvettes. He also enjoyed gambling at the casino.

David is survived by his children, Bob (Rebekah) Cunningham, Fishers, IN and Lauren (Michael) Rospert, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Shelby, Carter, Cooper, Evan Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Samantha, Cassi, Zeke and uncle, Bob Cunningham.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Lou Cunningham; siblings, Richard, Rayma Jean, Danny, Gary, Keith and Karen.

Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St. Fremont, OH 43420.

Funeral Services will follow visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
