David G Currier, age 75, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 28, 2022, after battling diabetes and heart issues for many years. A native of Melrose, MA, he was the son of Gertrude H and Gardner B Currier. His New England upbringing made him a big fan of the Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

He relocated to Cincinnati in 1980 and worked for Revlon, Corporex, and retired after 20 years with L'Oreal USA. An avid lifelong golfer, he met his wife of 30 years, Katherine (Kathie) Currier on a golf course. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert Currier and wife Priscilla Currier, and nephew Scott Currier. He is survived by his loving wife Kathie and sons Randall Currier of Sarasota and Jeffrey Currier of Seattle and stepdaughter Angela (Shawn) Proffitt of Cincinnati; grandchildren Alli Currier, Carson McCalla, and Keith McCalla, and nieces Judy (David) Turgeon of Amston, CT and Beth (Kathy Dougherty) Currier of Salem, MA.

Services will be held Fri April 1 (no joke!) from 5-9pm at The Arlington Memorial Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Rd, 45231. Visitation from 5-6:30 followed by a brief prayer service officiated by Rev Anthony Dattilo from St Catharine of Siena parish and a golf-themed casual Celebration of Life until 9pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory may be made by check to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or online at www.diabetes.org.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. His mother and my mother were very good friends, so I knew Dave from when we were both small children. I met Kathie at one of Dave's high school reunions, and it was so nice to see him so happy with her. Dave was a great guy and I know he will be missed by many.
