David Custalow Obituary

CUSTALOW, David W., 72, of North Chesterfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Custalow; daughter, Stacy Custalow; parents, Williams and Elsie Custalow; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his daughters, Anita Slaughter (Mike) and Cynthia Benmansour; two sons, David Custalow Jr. and Eric Cummings; four grandchildren, Jerry, Abdual, Erin and Doug; five great-grandkids, Ty, Anakin, Pacience, Jason and Christopher; two brothers, Bernard Custalow (Deloris) and Otha Custalow; one sister, Christine Custalow; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Custalow was a member of the Mattaponi Tribe in King William County. He was also a proud U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. David loved to fish, was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved animals. There wasn't a life that he did not touch, always putting others before himself. His family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 16, at Bliley's – Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Calvary Baptist Church, 10230 Hull St. Rd., followed by interment in Dale Memorial Park.
