David J. D'Emilio

David J. D'Emilio, affectionately known as Dave to his friends and family, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 2, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on April 1, 1952, in Fountain Hill, Dave was a man of great character and warmth, whose presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew him.
Dave attended Temple University, where he studied Horticulture-an early reflection of his lifelong passion for flowers and nature. He went on to work for the Bethlehem Steel for most of his life until retiring.
Beyond his career, Dave had a love for cars and found special joy in celebrating Christmas, a season that perfectly captured his generous and joyful heart.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his loving companion, Wal Jones; his son, Adam D'Emilio and wife Courtney; his beloved granddaughter, Harper; his brothers, Michael D'Emilio and wife Patricia, Jim D'Emilio, and Patrick D'Emilio; Mary Ann D'Emilio and her family as well as many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Phyllis (Bramwell) D'Emilio and sister-in-law Theresa D'Emilio.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. David's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
