David Joseph "Skunk" Dauby, 70, of Tell City, Indiana was born December 25, 1952 in Tell City, Indiana to the late Charles and Mary Claise Dauby. After driving over a million miles as a truck driver for 46 plus years, he made his final journey to Heaven on September 26, 2023.
David was a kind sweet soul who lived a fun-filled fabulous life that he shared with his wife of 45 years, Teresa Dauby; daughters, Michelle (Ernie) Wallace and Brandi (Mike) Johnson; bonus daughter, Kourtney (Jeff) Casebolt; grandchildren, Tyler (Latasha) Galey, Hayli and T.J. Pate, Parker Johnson, Kayla Newcom, Mykah Wallace, Paige Staud, Valorie Waninger, Kyla and Kaiden Casebolt, and Kasyn and Emmy Ingle; great-grandchildren, Tristin, Bryar, Stella, Elliott, Hudson, and Haven; and siblings, Charles Edward Dauby, Larry Dauby, Tim Dauby, and Carolyn Lasher.
He was met in Heaven by his parents; brother, Phillip; sister, Cheryl; and Copper, his beloved dog who was excited to see him.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Troy Riverfront. Please come and share your favorite memories with the family. God Bless. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of his arrangements.
